Sweet potatoes, apples, and cranberries cooked in foil with brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon for a hassle-free and delicious side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 sheet (18x24-inches) Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples, cored, thinly sliced into rings
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F or grill on medium-high heat.
  • Arrange sweet potatoes, apples, and cranberries neatly in the center of a sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil. Sprinkle with brown sugar and then top with a mix of butter and cinnamon, drizzling it all over the fruits.
  • Create a sealed foil packet by folding up the sides, doubling the top and ends for a tight seal, ensuring proper heat circulation inside.
  • Cook on a cookie sheet or in a 13x9x2-inch dish in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or grill in a covered grill for 20 to 25 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender.
