Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package pork sausage
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, crumble the sausage and cook until browned. Drain the grease and stir in cream cheese, cayenne pepper, parsley, and mushrooms. Remove from heat and let it cool, then refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfectly cooked dish.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully separate at the perforations. Gently stretch each piece out to its maximum size without tearing it, then spoon a generous amount of the sausage mixture onto the larger end of each one. Roll them up snugly, folding in the sides as you go, and pressing to seal any openings. Transfer them onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, about 16 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
