Whip up a deliciously moist gluten-free and dairy-free banana bread with cinnamon applesauce, dates, and walnuts that will be a hit with your family.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 0.66666668653488 cup cinnamon-flavored applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2.25 cups gluten-free all purpose baking flour (such as Krusteazl®)
  • 0.66666668653488 cup chopped dates
  • 0.75 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray, avoiding the use of a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mash bananas then stir in sugar and applesauce until combined. Mix in eggs, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add flour, 2 tablespoons at a time. Gently fold in dates and walnuts. Pour batter into the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
