Indulgent warm peach dessert, top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen peach slices
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously coat a 2-quart baking dish with melted butter.
  • Combine fresh peaches, 2/3 cup sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, milk, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until well mixed. Pour over melted butter in a baking dish, then place peaches over the batter and pour any excess liquid on top.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 40-45 minutes in a preheated oven.
