Decadent and creamy cheesecake in just three steps for a perfect dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 250g Nice biscuits, halved
  • 125.00 ml lemon butter
  • 2 x 250g packets cream cheese, chopped, softened
  • 141.90 gm caster sugar
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 160°C/140°C fan-forced and grease a 20cm (base) springform pan. 2. Blend biscuits until they form fine breadcrumbs. Add butter and blend until combined. 3. Press the mixture onto the base and sides of the prepared pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • Prepare the filling by using an electric mixer to blend the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and place it on a baking tray.
  • Bake the cheesecake until just set, about 50 minutes to 1 hour (it should slightly wobble in the center). Turn off the oven, cool the cheesecake inside with the door slightly ajar for 3 hours. Refrigerate overnight, then top with lemon butter and serve.
