Savory ground meat loaf with tangy vinegar-mustard-brown sugar glaze. Versatile recipe using any ground meat. Perfect for meatloaf skeptics, no ketchup required!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground lamb
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce, divided
  • 1 cup cracker crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine ground meat, egg, onion, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, cracker crumbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix thoroughly, then shape the mixture into a loaf in a pan, creating a depression in the center.
  • Mix 1/2 cup tomato sauce, vinegar, mustard, brown sugar, and water in a small bowl until the sugar dissolves. Pour over meatloaf.
  • Roast in the oven for 1 hour until perfectly cooked.
