Detroit's famous zip sauce elevates steak with a spicy kick.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1.5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.33333334326744 cup beef drippings
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, parsley flakes, and salt. Add mustard, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Warm for about a minute. Just before serving, mix the sauce with beef steak drippings in equal parts.
