Kristi's Chocolate Lasagna

Indulgent layers of crushed cookies, creamy sweetened cream cheese, rich chocolate pudding, and mini chocolate chips create a decadent no-bake dessert lasagna.
Ingredients:
  • 36 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®), crushed to fine crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
  • 3.5 cups milk
  • 2 (3.9 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1.5 cups mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl, using a fork to blend them together. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan to form the crust. Refrigerate.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy using an electric mixer. Gently fold in 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping, then spread the mixture over the crust. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • Combine milk and chocolate pudding mixes in a bowl, whisk until thickened, then let sit for 5 minutes. Spread over cream cheese layer, top with remaining whipped topping, and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly.
  • Chill until firm: either freeze for 1 hour or refrigerate for 4 hours.
