Try this effortless and delicious lamb hot-pot recipe for guaranteed success.
Ingredients:
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 1.2kg lamb chop
  • 45.50 gm olive oil
  • 600g mixed vegetables
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 ml fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 litre beef stock
Instructions:
  • Combine flour and pork chops in a resealable bag and shake until chops are evenly coated. Heat oil in a large casserole dish, then sauté onion, garlic, and rosemary until fragrant and tender, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  • Turn up the heat to high and drizzle in 1 tablespoon of oil. Add half of the chops and sear for 2 minutes on each side until they are nicely browned. Transfer them to a plate and then repeat the process with the remaining oil and chops.
  • In a dish, alternate layers of 3 chops, half of the vegetable mixture, and half of the onion mixture. Repeat the layers with the remaining chops, vegetables, and onions. Pour in the stock and 1 cup of cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour 30 minutes, skimming off any excess fat. Season with pepper and serve.
