Lamb kofta

Gather loved ones for delicious lamb kofta, bursting with flavorful bites!
Ingredients:
  • 1 small red onion, grated
  • 500g lamb mince
  • 82.50 ml finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 82.50 ml finely chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 2.50 gm ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 125.00 ml fresh breadcrumbs
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 200g Greek Style Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds, crushed
  • Couscous, to serve
  • Fresh mint leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together the onion, minced meat, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, egg, breadcrumbs, and garlic until well combined. Season with salt and pepper, then shape the mixture into balls using level tablespoons. Place the balls on a plate.
  • 1. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, sizzle the meatballs until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes. 2. Blend yoghurt with cumin in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. 3. Serve the kofta with the fragrant yoghurt sauce, alongside fluffy couscous and fresh mint leaves.
