Classic shortbread with butter, sugar, salt, and flour for a simple and irresistible treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 2.3333332538605 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Combine butter and sugar until creamy. Mix in flour and salt until well incorporated. Roll out the dough to a 1/2-inch thickness on a floured surface, then cut into shapes using 2-inch cutters.
  • Bake for 50 minutes and then sprinkle with sugar.
