Simplify your mornings with this delicious breakfast meatloaf, perfect for weekend brunches and meal prep.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds lean pork sausage
  • 0.66666668653488 cup bread crumbs
  • 0.5 chopped white onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine pork sausage, bread crumbs, onion, egg, and shallot. Season with salt and pepper. Pour in buttermilk and mix until thoroughly combined. Gently pat the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spread ketchup on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until the edges are bubbling, and the center reaches at least 160°F (71°C). Let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
