Limeshot Mexi-Martini

Mexi-martini: Margarita cocktail with lime gelatin shot, beer float, lime garnish. Refreshing and fun twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 ounce) package lime-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup tequila
  • coarse salt, as needed
  • 1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
  • 1 cup margarita mix
  • 0.5 cup tequila
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
  • 1 lime, sliced
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, dissolve lime-flavored gelatin mix in boiling water, then stir in 1 cup of tequila. Pour the mixture into around 24 shot glasses and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until set.
  • Rim 4 to 6 martini glasses with salt.
  • In a cocktail shaker, shake ice, margarita mix, and 1/2 cup tequila until well mixed. Place a lime-flavored gelatin shot in each martini glass. Pour margarita mixture over the shot, leaving room to top with beer. Top each with beer and garnish with a lime slice.
