Succulent and flavorful beef tenderloin dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) beef tenderloin
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Secure the tenderloin at 2-inch intervals with kitchen string.
  • In a bowl, blend together oil and garlic then brush over the meat. In a separate bowl, combine basil, rosemary, sea salt, and black pepper, then evenly sprinkle over the meat.
  • Roast the beef tenderloin in a preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes until it is slightly firm, hot, and pink in the center. Ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C) when checked with an instant-read thermometer.
