Homemade versatile sauce using pantry staples, perfect for doubling. Great for dipping katsu chicken, egg rolls, or as a BBQ sauce alternative. Enjoy the delicious results!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 2.5 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2.5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1.5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions:
  • Mix ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sherry, sugar, garlic powder, and ginger in a microwave-safe mug. Stir thoroughly with a fork, then microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir once more and leave aside.
  • Allow the dish to rest for 1 hour to enhance the flavors.
