Egg noodles baked to perfection with creamy cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, raisins, and a cinnamon sugar topping - a heavenly dish known as 'kugel.'
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups creamy whipped cottage cheese
  • 1 cup white sugar, divided
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a pot of lightly salted water until it bubbles. Add egg noodles and cook until just tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain well.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • Combine the cooked noodles with sour cream, cottage cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, and raisins until fully mixed. Transfer the noodle mixture to the pan and top with small butter pieces.
  • Combine the remaining sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the noodles.
  • Bake until the top is lightly brown, for about 45 minutes in a preheated oven. Let cool for 10 minutes to set before serving.
