Baked mozzarella beef meatballs in tomato sauce over spaghetti topped with Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients:
  • Olive oil for greasing pan
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 0.33333334326744 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • 12 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a large rimmed baking sheet with olive oil.
  • Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, mozzarella cheese, egg, and garlic until fully combined. Use a 1/4 cup measure or ice cream scoop to shape the mixture into 12 to 13 meatballs. Place them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown and fully cooked, around 15 minutes. Verify doneness by inserting an instant-read thermometer into the center of a meatball; it should register 160°F (70°C).
  • Simmer the sauce in a large skillet over medium heat until it bubbles gently. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and let them simmer together for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the steaming pasta into a spacious bowl. Pour a generous amount of sauce over the pasta and stir until evenly coated. Top with additional sauce and meatballs, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
