Impress guests with slow-cooked tender turkey breast in cranberry-onion gravy after simple prep.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 bunch fresh flat-leaf parsley, divided
  • 0.5 bunch dill, divided
  • 1 clementine, peeled and segmented, divided
  • 1 (2 1/2 to 3 pound) turkey breast
  • 2.6666667461395 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon white sugar, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery seed
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
Instructions:
  • Layer the bottom and sides of a slow cooker with a generous amount of fresh parsley and dill, reserving some for later. Arrange half of the clementine sections on top of the herbs. Gently place the turkey breast on top of the clementine sections.
  • Mix onion flakes, dried parsley, turmeric, onion powder, salt, sugar, celery seed, and black pepper in a bowl. Sprinkle generously over the turkey breast in the slow cooker.
  • Drizzle cranberry sauce generously over the turkey and around the slow cooker pot. Sprinkle with the rest of the fresh parsley and dill. Top with the remaining clementine sections. Cook on Low for 5 hours, ensuring not to overcook by checking at the 4 1/2 hour mark.
