Grandma-inspired chicken and rice casserole for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups instant white rice
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup butter, sliced into pats
Instructions:
  • Prepare the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a casserole dish.
  • Combine chicken, water, rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, and cream of mushroom soup in a casserole dish; season with salt and pepper, then give it a good stir.
  • Evenly layer the butter on top of the chicken mixture.
  • Cook in a preheated oven until the rice is tender and the chicken is fully cooked, for 1 to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
