Easy plum tart with cinnamon-sugar baked plums for a sweet treat any day.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie crust dough
  • 0.5 teaspoon unsalted butter, or as needed
  • 10 medium plums, or more as needed, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup white sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and generously butter a 9-inch tart pan.
  • Gently roll out the pie dough and snugly press it into the pan.
  • Place plums cut-side down on the crust, ensuring a snug fit. Sprinkle with cinnamon, then generously sprinkle with 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar, adjusting based on the plums' sweetness.
  • Bake the plums in the preheated oven until they are lightly browned on top and the juices are bubbling, for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Allow the dish to cool for 10 to 15 minutes until the flavors have melded. Dust with a touch of powdered sugar, slice, and enjoy.
