Mango and ginger lassi

Ingredients:
  • 0.60 gm salt
  • 3 (about 930g) ripe mangoes, peeled, chopped
  • 390g yoghurt
  • 375ml milk
  • 70g caster sugar
  • 15g peeled ginger, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 500.00 ml ice cubes
  • 6 mint sprigs, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, mix together mango, yoghurt, milk, sugar, ginger, cardamom, and salt. Transfer half of the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth. Add half of the ice and blend until finely crushed. Pour into 3 serving glasses. Repeat with the remaining mango mixture and ice. Serve garnished with mint sprigs.
