Creamy sweet corn dish, perfect as a side or baked casserole.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels, thawed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter, diced
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over gentle heat. Add sugar and stir until it dissolves. Add corn and mix well. Stir in cream cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Pour the mixture into the baking dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs, and add small pieces of butter on top.
  • Place in the already preheated oven and bake for 20 to 30 minutes until beautifully golden brown.
