Moist poke cake infused with fresh orange flavor from zest and juice.
Ingredients:
  • 0.375 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 oranges, zested and juiced
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine vegetable oil, sugar, and eggs in a medium bowl. Add yogurt and orange zest. Mix flour and baking powder; gently fold into the mixture. Pour batter into a greased 9-inch pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the center. Poke holes in the cake with a knife, then slowly pour the orange juice over the cake until fully absorbed.
