Spice up meatloaf with cayenne, Dijon, and Worcestershire, mixed with bell pepper, onion, and garlic for extra flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.5 cup minced onion
  • 0.5 cup minced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic in a large bowl. Stir in bread crumbs, egg, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Combine mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Mix into the meat mixture. Shape into an 8x4-inch loaf on a rimmed baking sheet. Brush olive oil over the loaf.
  • Roast in the oven until fully cooked in the middle, approximately 1 hour. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure it reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Place the meatloaf on a platter and slice into 8 portions.
