Tangy balsamic vinaigrette pairs with savory teriyaki and Worcestershire in this flavorful jerky.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 drops hot sauce (such as Dave's Insanity Sauce ®), or to taste
  • 1 pound top round steak, cut into 1/4 inch strips
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a resealable plastic bag, mix together teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinaigrette, garlic powder, onion powder, liquid smoke, salt, and hot sauce. Add meat strips, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 24 hours before cooking.
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 175 degrees F (80 degrees C. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and top it with a wire rack.
  • Remove beef strips from marinade, shake off excess, discard marinade. Place on wire rack, sprinkle with black pepper. Bake in preheated oven until firm and dry, at least 3 hours. Cool jerky completely before storing in a sealed container.
