Decadent oatmeal cookies bursting with dark brown sugar and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1.3329999446869 cups packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Grease your cookie sheets. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and oats in a bowl; set aside.
  • Cream butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Spoon heaping portions onto prepared cookie sheet, spacing at least 3 inches apart. Flatten cookies to 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 21 minutes until lightly browned. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
