Decadent and moist brownies bursting with incredible flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33300000429153 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 0.33300000429153 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and 1/3 cup of cocoa in a large bowl. Boil water and 2/3 cup of butter in a saucepan, then let cool slightly. Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix in buttermilk and eggs. Spread evenly in pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, then cool for 20 minutes before frosting.
  • For the frosting: Combine confectioners' sugar, 1/3 cup cocoa, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Mix in melted butter until fluffy. Spread over slightly warm brownies and cut into squares once cooled.
