Cozy up with a comforting mild turkey chili featuring tomatoes and beans, perfect for chilly nights.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
  • Spritz the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ground turkey until cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes, then drain off any excess grease. Transfer the turkey to the slow cooker.
  • Combine crushed tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, black pepper, salt, and garlic powder with the ground turkey, blending all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Slow cook for 3 hours on Low heat.
