Creamy ground beef stroganoff made with cream cheese and sour cream for a luscious finish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.75 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 0.25 cup light sour cream
  • 0.25 cup light cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef to the skillet, then season generously with salt and pepper. Sear the beef until fully cooked and browned, about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain off any excess grease before transferring the beef to a bowl. Enjoy your aromatic and perfectly seasoned beef!
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté onion and garlic in the melted butter until softened, for about 3 to 5 minutes. Add flour to the onion mixture and cook until browned, around 1 minute. Then, add the beef back to the skillet, pour in beef broth, and bring to a boil. Finally, stir in Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
  • Cover the skillet, lower the heat to medium-low, and simmer the mixture until it thickens to a gravy-like consistency, approximately 1 hour.
  • Fold the sour cream and cream cheese into the beef mixture before serving.
