Mizeria (Polish Cucumber Salad)

Refreshing cucumber salad with dill, sour cream, lemon, and a hint of sweetness - Mizeria.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound small cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch dill, chopped
  • 2.5 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 pinch white sugar, or to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Place cucumbers in a colander and generously sprinkle with salt. Allow to rest until soft, approximately 5 minutes. Squeeze out liquid from cucumbers, then transfer to a bowl along with dill.
  • Combine sour cream, lemon juice, and sugar in a bowl, then mix with cucumbers until well-coated. Season with pepper, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
