Try this easy apple cranberry pie with a sweet and tangy fruit filling using prepared pie crusts for a delicious twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 2 prepared pie crusts
  • 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) while you elegantly line a 9-inch pie plate with a flaky pie crust.
  • Layer the sliced apples in the prepared crust, then top with the cranberries. In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon, and sprinkle the mixture over the cranberries. Finally, evenly distribute pieces of butter over the pie filling.
  • Seal the filling with the remaining pie crust by crimping both crusts together and cutting several slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  • Simply bake the pie in the preheated oven until it turns golden brown and the fruit filling starts to bubble, which should take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
