Delicious Bundt® cake filled with layers of cinnamon-sugar apples for the perfect balance of sweetness.
Ingredients:
  • 5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 medium baking apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a fluted tube pan, like a Bundt®.
  • Combine 5 tablespoons of sugar with cinnamon in a bowl. Toss in apples until coated evenly.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, 2 cups of sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, orange juice, baking powder, and vanilla extract until the batter is moist and thick. Spread a thin layer of batter in the prepared pan, then add a layer of sugared apple slices. Continue layering batter and apples, ending with a final layer of batter on top.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean after about 1 hour and 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
