Brussels sprouts drizzled with a sweet buttery brown sugar glaze and crunchy walnuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen Brussels sprouts
  • 8 ounces walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Bring water in a saucepan to a boil, then add Brussels sprouts. Cover and simmer over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes until sprouts are tender. Drain before serving.
  • Combine butter, walnuts, brown sugar, allspice, nutmeg, and salt in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on High for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the butter is melted and the walnuts are warm. Drizzle over cooked Brussels sprouts before serving.
