Tender steak cooked with cumin, garlic, onions, and bell peppers in a savory sauce. Perfect for rice, noodles, or burritos.
Ingredients:
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 pounds round steak, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.125 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare the meat by generously seasoning it with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the meat for 5 to 10 minutes until evenly browned.
  • Stir in the flour and saute for an additional minute, ensuring the flour blends smoothly. Slowly incorporate water, breaking down any lumps. Introduce onion and green bell pepper, simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
