Easy Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings with Bisquick® dumplings.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 3 (12.5 fl oz) cans chunk chicken (such as Kirkland®), drained and broken into chunks
  • 4 baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons quick-mixing flour (such as Wondra®)
  • salt and cracked black pepper to taste
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick®)
  • 0.66666668653488 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Combine chicken broth, chicken, potatoes, carrots, and broccoli in a slow cooker, stirring gently.
  • Combine water and quick-mixing flour in a bowl until a smooth paste forms; mix into slow cooker contents. Season with salt and pepper.
  • After 5 hours of cooking on Low, blend baking mix and milk in a bowl. Spoon teaspoonfuls of the milk mixture into the slow cooker over the chicken. Cook for another hour, flipping the dumplings halfway through, until they are fully cooked.
