Decadent chocolate meringue cookies, irresistibly light and airy.
Ingredients:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cookie sheet by greasing it generously or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Using an electric mixer, whip egg whites and salt until peaks start to form. While the mixer is on, gradually add sugar one tablespoon at a time until fully incorporated, then mix in the cream of tartar.
  • Incorporate chocolate chips delicately with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula. Spoon batter onto prepared cookie sheet using a teaspoon. Place in the oven, turn off the heat, and leave to set for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight for enhanced flavor.
