Creamy corn-baked pork chops: Tender, kid-friendly meal perfect for busy weeknights. Skip water for thicker consistency.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 (8 ounce) pork chops
  • 0.25 cup minced onion
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil and sauté garlic. Season chops with salt and black pepper, then pan fry until golden brown on both sides, approximately 5 minutes per side. Transfer chops to a baking dish and top with onions.
  • 1. Bring water to a boil in a skillet over medium heat, scraping up all the flavorful browned bits. 2. Pour the savory mixture over the pork chops and top with an even layer of creamed corn.
  • Roast the pork chops in the preheated oven until they are tender and fully cooked, for about 45 minutes or until an instant-read meat thermometer reads 145°F (63°C) when inserted into the center of a chop.
