Simple yeasted cinnamon roll bows baked in a pan.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast
  • 0.33300000429153 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 6.5 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.33300000429153 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together yeast, 1/3 cup sugar, and warm water until smooth. Add salt and 2 cups flour, beat for 2 minutes. Mix in eggs and oil. Gradually add remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Once the dough is well combined, transfer it to a lightly floured surface and knead until it is smooth and elastic, for approximately 5 minutes. Grease a large bowl lightly, place the dough inside, and rotate it to ensure it is coated with oil. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm spot until it has doubled in size, which should take around 40 minutes. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon; set aside.
  • Divide the dough into twelve equal pieces. Roll each piece into a log, coat in cinnamon sugar, and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled, about 40 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake until golden in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
