Microwave beef goulash in flavorful tomato sauce. Quick, easy, and ready to enjoy in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (10 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a pot of lightly salted water. Add the macaroni and cook until tender, around 8 minutes. Drain the pasta.
  • Crumble the ground beef into a 2-quart or larger casserole dish. Add the onion, celery, and garlic. Microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes until the beef is cooked through. Remember to stir once, then drain off the grease.
  • Combine the tomatoes, tomato sauce, and sugar with the beef mixture. Season generously with paprika, oregano, caraway seed, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cover and microwave on high power for 14 minutes until the celery is tender and the flavors meld beautifully.
  • Take out the macaroni from the microwave, then stir in the cooked macaroni. Microwave for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until warmed. Serve hot.
