Transform a can of chili, 8 potatoes, an onion, and 2 pounds of stew meat into a delicious and easy Mom's Goulash. Just simmer for 3-4 hours for mouthwatering results.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds beef stew meat, diced into 1 inch pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 large potatoes, scrubbed and chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) can chili without beans
Instructions:
  • Season the beef generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sear seasoned beef and onion in oil until fully browned. Simmer covered in water for 3 to 4 hours until fork-tender, adding more water as needed to keep ingredients submerged.
  • One hour before serving, stir in the potatoes and chili.
