Irresistible chewy cookies with milk chocolate, coconut, and pecans - beloved at church and home.
Ingredients:
  • 1.6666666269302 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.875 cup butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; then set aside.
  • Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Beat in the egg and stir in the vanilla. Gradually add the dry ingredients, then mix in the chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool cookies on baking sheet for 2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
