Quick and easy cinnamon rolls made with yellow cake mix for a delicious and fluffy result in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 2 (.25 ounce) packages quick-rise yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups warm water (105 to115 degrees F/40 to 45 degrees C)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together 3 cups flour, cake mix, yeast, and salt. Then, gradually beat in warm water until well combined. Finally, stir in the remaining 1 cup flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth for 6 to 8 minutes. Shape it into a 9x18-inch rectangle. Evenly spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll the dough into a log, starting from a long edge, and seal the edges by pinching them together.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a baking sheet.
  • Slice the dough into 1-inch thick pieces and place them on the baking sheet. Cover the rolls and allow them to double in size in a warm spot for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven until the cinnamon rolls are lightly browned and fully cooked inside, about 15 to 18 minutes.
