Crispy Tater Tot quiche loaded with ham, cheese, and onions - perfect for weekend brunch!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups frozen bite-sized potato nuggets (such as Tater Tots®)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.75 cup diced ham
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 0.33333334326744 cup diced onion
  • 0.33333334326744 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the crust by putting potato nuggets in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes until thawed. Mix in butter and salt, then mash until potato nuggets are crumbled. Press the mixture evenly into a glass pie dish.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Take the crust out of the oven and lower the temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  • Create the filling by mixing together Cheddar cheese, ham, Parmesan cheese, and flour in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, vigorously whisk eggs until smooth. Add milk, onion, bell pepper, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder, then mix well. Combine with Cheddar mixture, stirring until fully incorporated. Pour the flavorful filling over the crust.
  • Bake until the filling is golden and set, about 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Allow the dish to cool for 10 to 15 minutes after taking it out of the oven before slicing.
