Ingredients:
  • 4 anchovy fillets
  • ½ fresh red chilli sliced
  • 1 heaped teaspoon small capers rinsed if salty
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ lemon zest and juice of
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 50 g mozzarella
  • 1 tablespoon finely sliced fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Ensure you purchase premium quality tinned Spanish anchovies for this recipe to truly elevate its flavors. Slice the anchovy fillets lengthwise and place them in a bowl with sliced chili, capers, a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil, and lemon zest. Add a splash of lemon juice and mix well. Allow the anchovies to marinate for 15 minutes. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough and place torn mozzarella on top. Arrange the marinated anchovy fillets, capers, chili, and parsley evenly. Season and drizzle with the remaining marinade oil. Bake until golden and crispy. Enjoy!
