Cozy up with a comforting hamburger soup packed with potatoes, veggies, and garlic - a perfect winter warmer.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks, or more to taste
  • 4 large carrots, chopped, or more to taste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 0.5 stalk celery with leaves, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon powder
  • water as needed
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
Instructions:
  • In a large soup pot, mix together potatoes, carrots, onion, celery, garlic, parsley, basil, bouillon, salt, and pepper. Add enough water to cover all the ingredients. Bring to a boil with the pot covered and simmer until veggies start to soften, about 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Add ground beef gradually, ensuring each portion is thoroughly mixed in before adding more. Once all the beef is in, bring the mixture back to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender and beef is fully cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes.
