- 2 egg yolks
- 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), then line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar using an electric mixer until creamy. Blend in egg yolks and vanilla extract until fully combined. Gradually mix in flour and baking powder. Use your hands to bring the dough together if needed.
- Load the dough into a cookie press and create spritz-shaped cookies on the baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until cookies are lightly browned. Let them cool on the baking sheets briefly, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before decorating.
