Fish tacos slaw: blend red and white cabbage, carrots, pickles, Cajun-adobo dressing for a crunchy, tangy taco upgrade.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 head white cabbage, finely chopped
  • 0.5 head red cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 large carrots, shredded
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 spears dill pickle, chopped
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
  • 0.25 cup dill pickle juice, or more to taste
  • 4 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, or more to taste
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
Instructions:
  • Combine white cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, onion, and pickle in a bowl.
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, salad dressing, pickle juice, Cajun seasoning, vinegar, and adobo seasoning until fully mixed. Toss the dressing with the cabbage mixture, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
