Indulgent chocolate cake mix topped with a decadent mix of graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons shortening, melted
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In a small bowl, stir together graham crumbs and melted shortening until they resemble coarse crumbs. Add chocolate pieces and walnuts, then set aside.
  • Follow the instructions on the cake mix package to prepare the batter. Spread the batter into the pan and evenly sprinkle the crumb mixture over it.
  • Place the cake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan.
