Stunning Christmas wreath perfect for outdoor breakfast centerpiece.
Ingredients:
  • 600g self-raising flour
  • 4.80 gm salt
  • 9.00 gm sugar
  • 5.00 gm bicarbonate of soda
  • 40g butter
  • 500ml milk
  • 20.60 gm milk, extra
  • Fresh bay leaves, to decorate
  • Berries, to decorate

Instructions:
  • Preheat camp oven. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and bicarbonate of soda in a large bowl. Use your fingertips to rub butter into the flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Pour in the milk and stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and separate it into 3 equal parts. Shape each part into a 50cm long, 2cm thick log.
  • Twist the dough portions together to form a round wreath, then brush with extra milk. Bake in foil for 25 to 30 minutes until golden. Allow to cool, then garnish with ribbon, leaves, and berries. Drizzle with golden syrup before serving.
