Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.33333334326744 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, and walnuts until fully combined.
  • In a 9-inch square pan, melt the butter, then pour in the batter. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until firm to the touch.
  • While the bars are still warm, gently loosen them with a spatula and invert onto wax paper, ensuring the buttered side is facing up. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar while they are still warm, then proceed to cut them into squares.
